Pleurothallis truncata

Pleurothallis truncata Lindl.

A very beautiful species of Colombian and Ecuadorian origin. It has medium sized spathulate, dark green leaves, which produces a raceme of bright orange blooms each about 5mm wide. It is a wonderful orchid, and very easily grown in the cool to intermediate climates.
